Welcome to Reception at Danegrove Primary School, where your child’s exciting school adventure begins!

Throughout the year, our caring and dedicated team—Mrs Keville, Miss Freeman, Miss Gallantine, Mrs Constantinou, Mrs Issa, and Miss Murat—support children in a friendly and nurturing environment.

Reception is a vibrant space full of exploration and play, both indoors and outdoors. Children enjoy activities like discovering nature through Forest School, playing games, and listening to stories that spark their imagination. They also take wonderful trips to the local park, helping them connect with the world around them and uncover new wonders. Friendly visitors such as dentists and health experts regularly join us to teach children the importance of looking after their teeth and staying healthy.

Each day at Danegrove Reception is filled with joyful learning as children grow in confidence, kindness, curiosity, and independence. Through play, friendships, and new experiences, they develop essential skills that lay a strong foundation for their continued learning journey.

Our Hedgehog and Squirrel classes are full of excitement and ready to embrace a year of discovery, growth, and joyful learning.
