Dear Parents and Carers,

Year 4 Bubble Closure from Friday 20th November

Unfortunately, we have had a confirmed case of Covid-19 of one of our staff in Year 4 and following discussions with Public Health England we have had confirmation that, in line with their guidance, all children in year 4 cannot be in school and now need to self-isolate for 14 days. This is a precautionary measure in order to reduce the possible spread of the virus to family, friends and the wider community.

During self-isolation children will be able to access home learning via the Danegrove website and Seesaw. The Year 4 team will upload daily work on to the Year 4 page of the website and children should complete this work in their homework books.

  • Please take a picture of the work and upload daily onto Seesaw (by 4pm) to be checked and marked.

  • Continue using Mathletics, Bug Club and Times table Rockstar.

  • Please continue to practise your times tables and division facts.

  • Read every day-preferably with an adult.

We are so proud of all of the children and of the progress that they have made so far this term. Please help your child to continue with this progress by ensuring that they complete their daily home learning tasks.

Thank you for your continued support during this difficult time.

Kind regards,

Year 4 Team
