On behalf of myself, the staff, governors and pupils, can I warmly welcome you to Danegrove Primary School....
Danegrove School is a happy, safe and welcoming community where all are respected, encouraged and supported to reach their full potential...
Next week, on Thursday 11th March we will continue the celebrations at school. The children may come to school dressed up as a favourite book character, if they wish. However, some of them may not and that is absolutely fine. In that case they can attend school in their normal school uniform. Vocabulary Hat Parade
As part of our whole school focus on the importance of learning and understanding new vocabulary, each year group will be creating ‘vocabulary hats’ at school. All year groups will have a vocabulary theme which may be words associated with their Science, Integrated studies or English topic. After working together to design and create their vocabulary hats the children will spend a session playing vocabulary and word games including team work and some drama. All the staff are excited to welcome all of the children back to school after such a long time. We hope that these celebrations will play a positive part in the full return to school.
