Welcome to year 3.  Ms Romeu (Penguin 3LR), Mrs Jones (Pelican 3NJ), Miss Demirsal (Puffin 3GD) and Mrs Noon (HLTA) are looking forward to a fabulous year. Children will become more independent and resilient learners in KS2 (key stage).

Our learning journey takes us through life during the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and in Ancient Egypt, passing through deserts and rivers. We will also be making arrow holders, learning how to code, as well as imitating Banksy.

Here are some helpful year 3 reminders: 

• Outdoor PE for the whole year-group is on a Wednesday morning. 
• Indoor PE is on Thursday.
• On PE days children should come in school PE kit (plain white t-shirt, plain navy-blue tracksuit trousers, plain navy-blue sweatshirt or jumper - NO hoodies, any trainers).

If you are able to spare an hour or more a week to listen to children read to help with their fluency, please contact the office.
