Welcome to all our Year 5 children and families at Danegrove Primary School!

This is an exciting stage in your child's learning journey, full of new challenges and opportunities for growth.

In Year 5, children will dive deeper into a range of subjects, from mastering more complex maths problems to exploring fascinating topics in history, science, and geography. There will be plenty of chances to develop skills in reading and writing, all while continuing to nurture creativity through arts, sports, and other extracurricular activities.

We encourage children to be curious, ask questions, and take on new responsibilities, preparing them for their final years of primary school.

Miss Jones (Falcon), Mr Stretton (Eagle), Mr Phillips (Kite) and Mrs De Silva are looking forward to a year filled with learning, friendships, and memorable experiences. Let’s make Year 5 a year to remember!
