Science
In Science this half term, we have been learning about plants. We have learnt hat plants are living things that grow and change. We have learnt to recognise and name common wild and garden plants, as well as simple trees. We explored the basic structure of plants, including roots, stems, leaves and flowers, and began to understand the role each part plays. We also learnt about the difference between deciduous and evergreen trees. Throughout the unit, we have developed our observational skills by looking closely at plants, noticing changes over time, and asking simple questions about how plants grow and what they need to survive.
