Year 1 had great fun exploring The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch. The children loved making their own “mustard sandwiches” inspired by the story and enjoyed bringing the book to life through practical activities and discussion.

They also enjoyed studying The Lonely Beast, using their imagination to write exciting invitations to a beast-themed party. The children produced fantastic creative writing full of enthusiasm and wonderful ideas.
