Impressive Start to the Season for Danegrove Football Team
Our boys' team have had an amazing start to this year's season, with a win or draw in every league game this season. Their last league game saw them score an impressive 6 goals, achieving a win against Brunswick Park.
In a recent tournament, the team missed out on a place in the final on penalties. They still kept their heads high, winning the third place play-off, receiving bronze medals for their great efforts.
However, what really makes them such a wonderful team is their amazing attitude and teamwork. They are so supportive and positive towards each other and really do embody what the word 'Team' means. Evidenced in their last game when Ace (even though he could have scored) selflessly set Mateus up, knowing that if Mateus scored then he would get a hat-trick. Wonderful sportsmanship!
